The first Sunday match in our Ekstraklasa is scheduled for 12:30 – it will be a match in Mielec, where the local Stal will play Raków Częstochowa. The favorite of this game is quite clear, but will it be reflected on the pitch?
Raków will win it?
The clear favorite is of course the guests. The thing about sport is that nothing is certain, although sometimes it may not be the case. On the other hand, Marek Papshun’s pupils should win it. Raków is a team that can be a role model in Poland. It can be said that this is a team where everything is correct. Of course, there are some drawbacks, but we can constantly talk about development, and this does not happen in Poland (or it happens very rarely). In addition, it is enough to refer to the last season – we are talking about the vice-champion of Poland. It is difficult to predict what will happen in this year’s competition, but one thing seems clear – Raków should be in the forefront.
Things are not going so well in Mielec – it is enough to remember the last season – if not for the enlargement of the league, Stal would play in the back of Ekstraklasa. This season starts with 2 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats. It’s not good, but it was also hard to expect great results. There are many indications that Stal will fight for maintenance until the end. There is also no need to hide that when ambition is lacking, commitment is very important. The players from Mielec cannot miss it. However, we must remember that commitment is not everything – the most important are skills, and the advantage of skills is on the side of the club from Częstochowa. An advantage that, in my opinion, will certainly be used. Currently, Raków has only 8 points (it is next to Stal in the table) – it’s high time to start scoring sharply. Of course, there are still two matches outstanding, but this is still unknown.
I bet Rakow wins. Odds 2.07 (FORTUNA)
